DESCRIPTION:Young Shooters\, this one is for YOU! \nVFW Post 6073 Range is proud to host our Youth Shoot — a fun\, safe\, and welcoming shooting event designed specifically for the young members of our veteran community. Whether you are a child or grandchild of a Post member\, a member of the Sons of the VFW\, or a young person interested in the shooting sports\, we want to see you out on the range! \nThis is a completely judgment free event. All skill levels are not just welcome — they are celebrated. Whether you have been shooting for years or have never held a firearm in your life\, our Rangemaster and experienced members will be on hand to guide\, assist\, and encourage every young participant throughout the day. \nNever shot before? No problem! First time shooters will receive personal one on one instruction covering: \n\nProper firearm handling and grip\nStance and sight alignment basics\nRange safety rules and procedures\nHands on practice in a safe and supportive environment\n\nDon’t own a firearm yet? That’s okay too! Come on out\, learn the basics\, and see if shooting is the right hobby for you. We have you covered. \n\n📋 Who Can Attend:\n\n✅ Children and grandchildren of VFW Post 6073 members\n✅ Children and grandchildren of Post Auxiliary members\n✅ Children and grandchildren of American Legion Post 30 members\n✅ Members of the Sons of the VFW\n✅ Young people interested in learning about shooting sports\n\n\n💵 Range Fees:\n\nPost Range members and their immediate family: FREE\nNon Range members and guests: $5.00 range fee\n\n\n🎯 What to Bring:\n\nYour firearm and ammunition if you own one (not required). DESCRIPTION:VFW Post 6073 Range invites all members of VFW Post 6073 and American Legion Post 30 to join us for a morning of friendly shooting and fellowship!\nWhether you’re a seasoned marksman or just getting started\, come on out and enjoy some time on the range with your fellow veterans and comrades. This is a relaxed\, fun day — no competition\, just good people\, good conversation\, and good shooting.\nNew members are especially encouraged to attend! A range orientation session will be held at the start of the event covering range rules\, safety procedures\, and equipment basics. All new members must complete orientation before shooting. \nWe will meet at the VFW Post 6073 for Safety and Orientation at 0930 for any new members\, We will keep it quick\, coffee and donuts provided. Then we will head out to the range. Current Range Members need not attend the orientation brief at the Post\nWhat to Bring: \nYour firearm(s) and ammunition\nEye and ear protection\nA lawn chair if you want to relax between shoots \nRange Rules and safety guidelines will be strictly observed at all times.\nCome for the shooting\, stay for the fellowship.
