The VFW Post 6073 Range is open during the following hours:
- Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM — 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM — 4:00 PM
- Sunday: 12:00 PM — 4:00 PM
Hours are subject to change. Always check this page before visiting or contact your Rangemaster for the most current schedule.
🚫 Closures & Special Events
The range will be closed on the following federal holidays in observance of our veterans and their families:
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Special events and scheduled competitions may also result in temporary closures or restricted access. All closures and special events will be posted here and announced at monthly Post meetings.
⚠️ Range Safety Reminders
Safety is the number one priority at VFW Post 6073 Range. All members and guests must observe the following rules at all times:
- Always treat every firearm as if it is loaded
- Never point a firearm at anything you are not willing to destroy
- Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target
- Always be aware of your target and what is beyond it
- Eye and ear protection are mandatory on the range at all times
- All shooters must complete a range orientation before their first visit
- No alcohol or substances permitted on range property
- The Rangemaster’s instructions must be followed at all times
- Cease fire commands must be obeyed immediately by all shooters
- Any unsafe behavior will result in immediate removal from the range
Failure to comply with range safety rules may result in loss of range privileges.
🎖️ Membership Information
The VFW Post 6073 Range is available to:
- All current members of VFW Post 6073
- All current members of American Legion Post 30
- Eligible guests accompanied by a current Post member
To use the range you must:
- Have completed range orientation before your first visit
- Sign in at the range log on every visit
New members are encouraged to attend our next Open Range Day for their orientation session. Check the Calendar page for upcoming dates.
